hey everyone. since this place has gone public and could lead to trolls postin here i just wanted to repeat that I WILL DELETE ANYONE WHO CREATES TROUBLE!!!!! if ur a troll i will kick u out no questions asked. this place is for gossip not fighting. if there is a problem with member msg me and i will look into it. im not around all the time but i will make sure that this palce doesnt become another fighting ground.

Since you are the moderator, I think we deserve an explanation as to why this place has already gone public?

Is NINWaveGoodbye from Twitter going to start posting screenshots of this forum too? I don't get it, who's side are they on?!? No one will want to post on here if privacy has been compromised.

someone posted a link on twitter so i had no control over that. as far as being public i still can control who sees thisplace so if anyone causes trouble n trolls or i see anyone with a suspicious account i will ban them

I thought this might be the most appropriate place for this post. I remember back when I was on Wave people complaining that they applied for a Metal Sludge account and were waiting months to get approved. If you suddenly get approved-just delete it-it's not worth it now.

The NIN thread is all but dead and has been for some while. The forum in generally is going south and the owner Steve Rachelle is trying to bring in new blood. Why? Stevie, the site owner, decided to copy TR in October swinging the ban hammer and posting people's personal info on the main Gossip board. Rachelle banned Deathcurse after getting into an argument with him. Then posted personal info on CrouchingStonerHiddenBong finances and RPB's workplace in open forum because he suspected them of being friends with Deathcurse! He had their personal info because they both had bought merchandise off of his site. He also offered merchandise to those who would help him out Deathcurse. Deathcurse made a phoney Face Book page about himself that Rachelle swallowed hook, line, and sinker. Then he was angry when he found out he was duped. Anyway all this crap should have blown over by now, but a couple days ago Rachelle started randomly banning people again because they refused to give out info on Deathcurse. A lot of the old posters have fled to another site-but there is no NIN thread there.

Also I've noticed recently some strange editing to the NIN thread that I'm asking around in PM about because I suspect that thread has been seriously hacked. I periodically read up thread because there is some serious hilarity and craziness in the NIN thread. I recently noticed something: missing posts. I'm not talking a post that a person went back at a later date and deleted its content, because if someone does this there is still a record that they posted something there. No, I'm talking about being totally gone-like the person never existed. Even if you get banned on MS, your posts don't get deleted-you just can't log in. So I've noticed several former MS members who have totally disappeared from the NIN thread. The only proof any of them were ever there is if another MS member quoted them and the missing post appeared in someone else's post.

I'm glad none of this applies to me because I was never a member of Metal Sludge and never tempted to even look at that site.

I know there may be some valid info over there, but for the most part I think it kinda hurts their credibility if the majority of the site is run by groupies.

I just remember people on Wave saying they were waiting like 9 months + for approval to get on MS. Suddenly there is an influx of new folks there. It used to be a cool place where people would discuss various bands and shows they had been too.
Only the NIN thread (which is 303 pages long) had ex-fans gossiping and posting some crazy conspiracy theories. But if the thread is going to get chopped up because some one hacked it and is deleting posts and profiles-then what's the point of reading it? That and the site owner is a complete tool.

LOL. Sounds a lot like NIN.com.

I remember some of the more paranoid people from Wave were theorizing that Mariqueen or Genstarchild had infiltrated Sludge...
